​A delegation from the Ministry of Home Affairs participated in the Religious Ceremony in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration held at Istana Nurul Iman, 1st September night.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. The ceremony, included Al-Qur'an reading; tazkirah and dikir performance. The delegation was also joined by the Brunei Youth Council; Mosque Youth group, Az-Zakireen Mosque, Meragang; Tutong District Village Consultative Councils as well as officers and religious teachers from Brunei Dua 'B' zone.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance and Economy, along with its departments in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul Celebration, held the Dikir Syarafil Anam Ceremony at the Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Serusop. Present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education also held a Dikir Maulud Ceremony. Present was Pengiran Doctor Mohamad Iskandar bin Pengiran Haji Petra, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Corporate at the Ministry of Education. The event took place at An-Na'im Mosque, Kampung Panchor Mengkubau.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the departments under it also held the Dikir Maulud at Kampung Sibut Religious Hall. Leading the delegation was Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer. Also present were Members of The Legislative Council.

At Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, a similar ceremony was organised and attended by delegations from Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei, and the Muslimah of Omar 'Ali Saifuddin Mosque.
